Christopher Ganas

Christopher Ganas is the Director of Product Security at Palo Alto Networks. He provides security engineering leadership across the product portfolio, heading the company's Deep Product Security Research team, and driving the cyber resilient product strategy to protect customers from advanced threats. An expert in secure coding and incident response, Christopher has extensive experience managing Product Security Incident Response Teams and leading 0-day vulnerability responses. He has helped shape both CVSS and PSIRT standards through his work with the Forum of Incident Response and Security Teams. A security researcher at heart, he honed his technical skills leading the renowned Plaid Parliament of Pwning CTF hacking team. He holds a BS in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University
